PHASE 7 SIMULATION - NEIGHBORHOOD

Under the right travel conditions, any of the four routes might work for Mike. To get more information, Mike's team looks at discrepancies on each of the routes.

Route 1 Map
POSSIBLE ROUTE DISCREPANCIES
Mike doesn't recognize when to turn left to stay on the sidewalk.
Mike has difficulty walking straight on the sidewalk.
Mike can't stay oriented across the open field and
between houses.



Route 2 Map

At the first intersection, Mike doesn't turn left to stay on the sidewalk.
Mike veers into driveways while walking around the court.
Mike doesn't recognize his own driveway after walking around the last court.


Route 3 Map
Mike doesn't know when it's safe to cross the street without a crossing guard present.
This isn't a busy street, but Mike lacks the confidence to cross it.
Mike doesn't recognize his driveway.


Route 4 Map
Mike is unable to get to the intersection before the crossing guard is off-duty.
