Phase 4 Example

COMBINATION 4

Combination 4
A. Amy begins this combination at the right entrance of grocery store. Once inside the first set of doors, she gets a basket and then proceeds through the second set of doors. She then continues toward the produce section in front of her until she reaches a display. At the display she turns right and makes her way to the Deli area on the outside wall.

B. When she gets to the Deli cases Amy turns left and walks straight to the far corner keeping the outside wall on right. She locates the bakery and selects a loaf of French bread. She then turns left and continues along the cases on her right to the dairy section.

C. Once she is in the dairy section, Amy begins searching for a pint of cream on the top shelf. She then continues forward past the milk until she gets to the corner where she turns left.

D. After the turn, Amy angles to the left to cross the short open space to the dairy side of the aisle. She locates the eggs, turns around, and then moves back toward the milk case. With the milk case in front of her she turns right and reverses her movements until she reaches the pole at the corner of the lunchmeat case.

E. Placing the pole at her side and the wall to her back, Amy crosses the open space to the baking aisle. She locates the cinnamon, vanilla, and syrup, and then continues away from lunchmeat case to the end of the aisle nearest the store entrance.

F. At the end of the aisle, Amy moves left looking for a checkout lane with people in it. She gets in line, completes her purchase, and exits the store.
