In the course of Phase 3 - Explore Environments and Select Travel Situations, the team tracked where Nick's family went on weekends. A General Environmental Inventory Form was completed for all locations, and a check of Nick's personal preferences helped the team decide to have Nick shop for taco ingredients at the grocery store. The team was ready to move on to Phase 4.
In Phase 4 - Brainstorm All Possible Ways to Move TO, FROM or THROUGH an Activity, Nick's team realized there are an endless number of possible routes while grocery shopping. To help them brainstorm, they first listed items related to making tacos, and then took items off the list if they didn't meet the following three conditions:
1. Nick had to recognize the item regardless how it was packaged.
2. Nick had to be able to pick up and carry each item without help.
3. A route for each item would start at the entrance of the store and end at the express lane checkout.
