In Phase 1 - Assemble the Team, Krystal's parent's initiated a discussion about employment options with Krystal's Occupational Therapist (OT), Physical Therapist (PT), classroom teacher and aide. Krystal is totally blind and severely hearing impaired. She typically rides in a handicap accessible van and is pushed in her chair. Krystal's family wanted her to have new work and travel experiences. The group asked the high school vocational teacher to join them and act as team leader. They then proceeded on to Phase 2 - Review Current Settings and Activities Favorable to Travel.
