PHASE 6 - LIST THE SPECIFIC STEPS
OF THE SELECTED OPTION
Now that the team has selected a specific activity or route option, team members need to list the sequence of steps (task analysis) involved in that option. The best way to do this is to write down the steps of how a nondisabled peer would complete the same activity and/or route. It is important to remember the consumer or student will often need to do other things as a part of the chosen travel option (e.g., carrying items, communicating needs, recognizing familiar locations). To create an accurate task analysis means describing anything and everything a nondisabled person would do, in the correct sequence of steps, to accomplish the same task.

2.

Using the Task and Discrepancy Analysis Form, write down the sequence of steps for completing the activity/route option by watching the nondisabled peer. |
