PHASE 2 - REVIEW CURRENT SETTINGS AND ACTIVITIES FAVORABLE TO TRAVEL
There may be environments and activities in which a person currently participates, where travel routes or mobility patterns could be developed. For example, a student might need to go from the bus to the front door of a school; a shopper might need to negotiate the aisles of a grocery store; or a worker may need to move between two job sites in different buildings. For some teams, these situations may already have been identified through the use of a preference survey, family inventory, or from observations made of the person who is deafblind. However, for other teams, members may not be aware of the opportunities that currently exist for more meaningful involvement in travel situations.

STEPS TO COMPLETE
1.
Review a person's current daily and weekly schedule with respect to environments and activities. If the team can select a setting, route, or activity, go to Phase 4 - Brainstorm All Possible Ways to Move to, From, or Through an Activity. |
2.
If no current setting and activity can be agreed upon or is appropriate, go to Phase 3 - Explore Environments and Select an Activity to consider further possibilities. |
